What a fantastic service from Kaye and her team. It was my first eye test and I was given a very thorough examination. Kaye was warm, friendly and talked me through each stage of the process so I was able to understand the results. Went yesterday. I really wanted a good check over to put my mind at rest, that's what I got. I was really happy with the appointment. Nice and easy to find. Recommended. Superb service.

My Son is Autistic and wouldn't sit at numerous opticians until we tried S Walton. The staff were absolutely lovely with him and went above and beyond to help him settle. First time anyone has actually managed to conduct a full eye test on him. I'm even moving my daughter to this opticians!!

I have got excellent service for my kids over the last 2 years from S Walton eyecare opticians since we moved to the area. Kaye and Lynn are very warm, patient, and always go above and beyond to ensure the prescription and frame is perfect. They also send reminders when the kids are due for their appointments etc. They're in the business for almost a century and if someone from South Shields hasn't tried them yet, I'd definitely recommend.

Visited S Waltons after struggling to see things close up. Kaye made me feel really at ease as she carried out the various tests required to assess my vision. Upon discovering I needed glasses, both Kaye and Emma were so helpful assisting me choose a lovely pair of glasses from the large range they stock that were fashionable, comfortable, affordable and really suited my face. My glasses were ready for collection just a few days later and I couldnt be happier with my new specs. and would wholeheartedly recommend S Walton Opticians to all my family and friends.
