My mother age 92 had her eye test today. She had never been here before but found the whole experience very enjoyable. Everyone was very helpful & friendly so can't thank everyone enough.

We decided to give a local independent optician a try after always being with large national chains. The service at J. McGuinness is much friendlier and personal. Ciaran is very thorough and attentive, even taking time to explain in detail the inner eye images to our children! Glad we made the change - great service.

Very helpful, friendly and professional staff. Excellent eye exam, it was so refreshing to see the time taken to show and explain the photographs I had taken of my eyes and passing on information I never knew, I found it very informative and interesting. No big sale pit h at the end of the exam either - but I wanted a new pair of glasses and they hold an excellent range of glasses including designer frames for all budgets. Ordering of my glasses was a breeze and had my new pair the next week, the staff again showed professionalism and are highly knowledgeable on making sure the fitting of glasses are just right. I wouldn't go anywhere else - support our local businesses and trust in this firm.
