Ashlea mews is a home full of compassion and a team of hard working carers who have become like a second family to me, the residents are wonderful and any concerns or problems are quickly addressed and solved. I am proud and happy to work here.

My dad stayed here twice for respite care, the staff were kind and friendly and could not have been more understanding of us as a family. We certainly have nothing but praise for them, and thank them for all of the help they gave us, at an incredibly difficult time, and for the care they gave to our husband/dad/granda who we sadly lost in September. Beverley Errington & family.

My elderly neighbour has lived here temporarily before relocating near to her family. I have visited many times and it is abismal. Staff are overworked and could do with some refresher training in the care sector. Today I witnessed a young carer playing games on her mobile phone whilst residents wandered around in various states of undress. My last visit I witnessed a Male carer being very firm and unnecessarily abrupt with a resident, totally changing his approach as I walked nearer. Today my neighbour had not eaten and I had to find a staff member to make her at least a sandwich, making me wonder if that would have been done had I not been there. I cannot say all staff are the same but theres no interaction with residents, many being treated like a nuisance. It's a sad place but Ginger the cat does bring some comfort I'm sure.
