        Rubbish service. Went to them with a cracked laptop screen at the start of April, was quoted 240 for labour and parts and was happy to pay it. Communication shocking, was finally told the part had been ordered in May. After the expected delivery date had passed I was told that the part had been lost in the post. These things happen, what with COVID and Brexit and what not, so I pressed on and gave the go ahead for it to be re-ordered, which happened at the end of May. Heard nothing, and all this time the crack is growing and growing and I can't use the full touch-screen functionality of my laptop which is one of the reasons I bought it...anyway. Beginning of July I gave up on them, found a new screen on ebay for 80, got Fairtech on Fowler Street to fit it for 35. The process of getting this job done took under 48 hours (compared to the 3+ months Ctrl messed me about) and cost less than half what Ctrl quoted. Not to mention the fact they had me faffing around with serial numbers and what-not when literally all I had to do was enter the make and model on ebay to source the correct part. Baffling. Avoid.

        My wife took her laptop in to see if they could diagnose / fix it. They couldn't and gave it back with no charge. Yesterday I needed a drive so decided to strip it and take the SSD only to find that it and the ram had been stolen. Too long go ago to go banging on doors but nobody else has touched it since seemed a profetional outfit so surprised.
