Had a lovely night celebrating parents 50th wedding anniversary.The staff were brilliant very attentive and made the night extra special.The food was delicious we will definitely be returning!

The restaurant made a mistake with our neighbouring table's bill, undercharged them very slightly. The table tipped, meaning the restaurant was less than 1 down, and still chased them on it. How embarrassing for Delhi 6 to behave that way after the restaurant made the mistake. We watched the whole thing, and will not be returning. I felt so bad for the customers, who obviously were regulars and dealt with it well, but I bet they don't go back. I hope the 1 was worth it! I didn't want dinner and a show, and I'm sure no one else did either. Edit: Shocking response from management. Defensive and weird, demonstrates my point entirely. You werent as quiet as you clearly imagine yourself to be.

When a restaurant makes a mistake, that's on them. You don't humiliate customers over less than a pound. Wasn't happy to see this tonight. Can't believe they still tipped after all of that. You don't survive tough times without good customer service, and I'm going to eat at a different curry house in future. My food was unfortunately too salty, but not salty enough to cover the bad taste I was left with tonight.

Just had dinner with husband at Delhi 6, Ocean Road, South Shields. Set menu, 13.95 per person. Delicious starter, nice main meal and coffee. We asked for the bill and it came to 27.95. We paid 30 and said please keep the change. Owner of restaurant came back with the bill and our money. Said waiter made a mistake, lamb curry my husband had was a couple of quid dearer. Total was now 30.40....My husband paid an extra 1 and told them to keep the change. Really Delhi 6??? Your mistake initially. And all this for an extra 40 pence in total?? Due to the fault of your waiter, not us!! We might not return to your establishment...
