The service last night (Monday 1st May) was appallingly slow and the member of staff we complained to rude. The Manager was telling people "15 to 20 minutes" when they arrived. We ordered x2 pizza's to take away at 7:27pm and waited over 40 minutes for them. We sat waiting, watching the kitchen, and the orders stacking up. At one point there were 44 pizza's waiting to be made over 14 orders. There were 5 Delivery riders waiting for orders, plus tables and us... Still the Manager kept taking orders and saying "15 to 20 minutes.. it might be a bit longer.." Just two guys in the kitchen doing their best, but they were obviously making mistakes because they were rushing. In the end the manager went into the kitchen to help them! (Is that allowed?) After half an hour of waiting patiently we spoke to the guy who seemed to be some kind of deputy manager. We asked for beers at least whilst we were waiting, he was incredibly rude, clearly stressed out and demonstrated the very best example of the worst customer service. We won't be going back. A pity because the pizza is normally pretty good! (Better than Pizza Express, who by the way have a much larger restaurant directly opposite and had 5 staff in the kitchen and a 10 minute wait) (I went to check). Franco Manca - you need to value customer service more than sales. When your manager says "15-20 minutes" it shouldn't be a lie. Making people then wait double that is taking the pizza
