Our corgi puppy had her first time grooming which she absolutely loved. All the staff was very friendly and amazing and the results absolutely stunning. Definitely recommend it!

Lovely first experience with Riverdog studios. The staff were warm and friendly on the phone and in person which makes a huge difference and also seemed extremely knowledgeable. I was drawn to the fact that they advertise humanity before vanity and put the dogs welfare as top priority. I also think its brilliant that they use eco-friendly, sustainable products - a big tick from me! Frisbee, my puppy, seemed very happy after her first gentle groom. Thank you for guiding us through it team Riverdog!

I have an extremely nervous dog who gets very scared by the whole grooming process. Riverdog studio though are amazing with her, always greeting her calmly and lovingly and I feel very confident that she is being cared for and treated well when she is with them and she always comes out looking beautiful. I highly recommended them and feel very happy to have found such kind and talented people who really take the time to understand my dog.

Sadly have made the decision not to return to River Dogs where weve gone exclusively since a puppy. Whilst weve never been completely content that the cut matched our brief, our dog has always been so excited to return, we overlooked this. On the previous groom, they had managed to match our ideal cut and we were so pleased. However on return this week, after confirming a repeat of the cut, the result frustratingly went back to the norm. When mentioned, the groomer tried to defend the cut by showing a photo of our last groom which clearly showed a mistake had been made.. but no apology was offered and it was apparently down to a miscommunication. To rub salt to the wound, on payment the requested amount was well above the standard price. On questioning, we were advised a surplus was owed due to minor matting that was remedied by brushing. We appreciate, as per their website they take the dogs well-being first and foremost, but this feels a completely unnecessary charge and more for making money than anything.
