It was our sons 4th haircut today at 2 years old and so far only his first one had gone ok. 2nd traumatic and 3rd hairdresser aborted midway as too dangerous as he kept putting his hands up where the scissors were(but to their credit didnt charge us). We had heard this hairdresser specialises in kids and has all the lovely cars, fish tank, books, toys as distractions so hoped he might be won over. Again today sadly our son did not cooperate from the outset, but the lovely lady was so patient and sweet and persevered through the tears and managed to get a great result despite the squirming. They have lots of option for seating on your lap if your child wont warm to the cars or Vespas so something for all situations. Although it was still traumatic on the whole(no fault of the salon), the hairdresser/salon gets 5 stars - we were super grateful for getting a good haircut despite our sons uncooperative behaviour. The cars are super cool but hes just not old enough/relaxed yet to play ball. She handled it great and got it over with as soon as possible and a good result, shes amazing at still safely managing cuts with a moving target!! Its a horrible experience going to the hairdresser with a small child who wont stay calm or still, but its a very private space and she didnt make us feel bad about it and just helped with her kind words and demeanour to get the job done quickly for our son. We are very grateful our raggamuffin looks tidy again! I would highly recommend to people with uncooperative small children - at best theyll love the distractions and have a good experience, but even if it doesnt go well, its an understanding & private environment where the job will still get done as painlessly as possible for bubs and mum & dad.

Very good nice patient hairdresser. Salon very clean. Everything is done to make sure the kids have the best experience. The cuts were perfect as well. Pricier than a barber but worth every penny. I highly recommend.

We went to this hairdressers because we saw a price listed online for under 3s at 14. Once the haircut was complete we were quoted a price of 22. When I informed them of the discrepancy and showed them the price on the website online (with the exact same address listed) the staff immediately said (without hesitation) that it was not their website. They did not seem at all surprised at the fact that the website existed, which led me to believe, they have had a similar issue before. Surely it should be the responsibility of the company to ensure there is no false advertising associated with their name and address? Throughout the whole exchange, where I argued that they should honour the price (they didnt), the hairdresser repeatedly called me mummy, which I found quite patronising. Furthermore, the hairdresser who cut my 2 year old daughters hair criticised her previous haircut, stating I dont know what happened there and leaving parts of her fringe dangling into her eyes to correct it. To rectify this they suggested I Clip the hair back the reason I have a fringe cut is because my daughter flat out refuses hair accessories. The difference between the haircut they criticised and theirs: the last one looked great, this one looked shocking as if I had done it myself. I was also disappointed with how she interacted with my child. Previous hairdressers have been great at engaging her and putting her at ease. This particular hairdresser seemed to have no rapport with children. I would avoid this place and particularly this hairdresser. Unfortunately, she neither told me her name, nor asked mine, which I suppose it why she kept calling me mummy. Service: Kids' cuts
