I have been seeing Dr. Powar since September 2022. I have severe temporomandibular joint disorder (also often known as TMJ/TMD/TMJD) which causes muskuloskeletal/myofascial pain and headaches to the point it feels like my head is in a vice. I also have a severed median nerve and tendon damage after my arm was lacerated in an accident with a glass door 20 years ago. This causes neuropathic pain in my fingers/hand/arm and my shoulder and upper right side is more more raised and out of alignment causing further tightness and pain. I have seen many osteopaths/chiropractors/McTimoney over the years with varying degrees of success. I was in a pretty bad way when I saw Dr. Powar, in a lot of pain and and my right hand had become quite clawed and stiff (luckily I'm left-handed!). After my first session the difference was incredible. I felt in far better alignment, the pull on my face had righted itself and my jaw was back where it should be. My hand and fingers were not so clawed and far more mobile. It felt like the blood was pumping down through my arm and into my fingers again. I hadn't been able to walk very far in a while and was able to walk a considerable distance to my second appointment. I was given exercises to do after my first session which developed and changed as my condition progressed. Dr. Powar has been absolutely fantastic; she is kind, compassionate and because she has her own experience of similar issues (see website) she really knows her stuff. I have got to the point where I am so much more mobile and because I'm not so 'locked up' and 'stiff', I am able to move things on myself with exercise and walking because my range of movement has improved after being so restricted. I am a lot happier and not so anxious and depressed. I just feel so much more hopeful that things can get better. I had an intensive course with Dr. Powar which helped enormously because my condition was so chronic and I could move it on more quickly instead of waiting days/weeks for my next appointment. I now see her as often as I can for maintenance and I totally understand that these types of conditions cannot be treated overnight and I need to put the work in myself. Nearly forgot to mention that around November I had a bad chest infection. I have asthma and my chest was so tight and painful when I was recovering and my breathing was laboured. I went to see Dr. Powar (when I was recovering and not infectious!) and she always seems to know where to go on my body and adjusted around this area first. It was literally immediate relief, I could breathe more easily, my chest had opened up and I just generally felt a lot better. It was incredible. Dr. Powar called it a 'respiratory burst'. I would highly recommend Dr. Powar to anyone and I just wish I had found her a lot sooner! Thank you so very much Dr. Powar for putting me on the road to recovery.

I found the practice contact on-line as I was having sharp back pains and they were able to give me a visit over the week-end, which was great. However the session was very disappointing. First I was charged 130 GBP, which is higher than everywhere else I have been in London. Second the price included a 10gbp ice pack, which was aggressive. It was my first time to a chiro in London and afterwards I discovered that they are generally priced 5 or less everywhere else. Finally and more importantly the manipulation was literally minimal and helped very little. I had back pain because of my lower back muscles being contracted, and what I really needed was heavy manipulation to help the muscles relax. None of this happened, treatment was bland and quick and did not help at all with the pain, but I was "advised" to come back for another session the day after. Went to a more competent chiropractor the day after and it helped me so much more. I will definitely not come back to this practice, and a piece of advice, do not let your patients stay in pain so they come back more often, it is not a great strategy long term

Narinder is a professional. She knows her stuff. I went there with spine issue which turned out to be twisted form of scoliosis. It was the best decision I have made! I can sleep soundly. I no longer want to be slumped in my chair during the day due to overwhelming pain. I still have stiffness sometimes but with the stretch routine Narinder insisted on me doing daily, I am able to cope with my spine adjusting to its new alignment. I am very happy with the relief that she has given me. I fully recommend anyone with pain, stiffness or spinal injuries to make an appointment with her. Thank you so much for helping me!
