        Been coming to this site, touring, for 7 years, lovely site & when new bit was added became one of my favourite touring sites. Lovely clean facilities, peaceful & pub with good food 10 min walk. Just came back from a weekend & was very disappointed. The price per night has had an increase of 8 from last year, totally acceptable with the increase of electric etc. I was happy to pay the increase as love the site but when we got there & couldn't get the electric to work we were puzzled, turns out not only an 8 per night price increase but the electric is metered and you have to put money on a card!!! Well as you can imagine I have stressed all weekend about wether my electric would run out or not because if you put too much money on you don't get it back when you leave!! Normally I would use my electric George Foreman to cook but we had decided to eat out this weekend. I was very careful with lights & even didn't put heating on 2nd night, no fun being cold, & spent 13 on electric from 6.30pm Friday night to 10am Sunday morning, bearing in mind we were out 5 hours on Saturday. The website still states that electric is included in your 30 night. This site has now been taken over by Flower of May.
