Finishing Touches Design Studio

After nearly a year with our new curtains from Finishing Touches, I feel qualified to say without qualification that we are very pleased indeed with them and are happy to recommend Finishing Touches to anyone who needs a highly professional outcome. Julias attention to detail is amazing. Her expertise with fabrics and colours; all the technical side (& theres quite a bit of this); her patience as we try to make our decision with her expert guidance; her access to a massive range of designs and fabrics and her knowledge of it all plus the excellent installation by her husband Mark leads me to be very happy to put 5 stars to this review. She also made it an interesting and enjoyable experience. In brief we have a bay window; DIY (no one can accuse me of being a DIY enthusiast) with an online supplier was potentially going to lead to an expensive mistake with inferior products. We now have a set of beautiful wool curtains (fully lined) in a plain (but not boring) design which means the curtains will not restrain any redecoration decisions we make for the room in the future. The curtains slide effortlessly on the top quality Swiss made rail with attached metal pull rods (so we rarely touch the curtains and they keep their shape) and join up beautifully. They are the cherry on top of our full house refurbishment and we thank Julia for all she did for us.

Julia had previously made a beautiful James Hare Cushion which I was delighted with. The fabric was difficult to source but thankfully several months later, Julia remembered me and was able to source more fabric. I'm delighted to receive a match which now finishes my room. Service, communication and quality are all 5star. Thank you Julia.

I had lovely advice and service from Julia at finishing touches when having my arm chair reupholstered. The fabric and end result were beautiful! I would highly recommend.

Fabulous service from the start! Julia quickly acts on your colour and fabric preferences, and makes appropriate suggestions from her vast array of quality fabric samples. I am thrilled to bits with my new curtains. They have been extremely well made by Julia, and I know that they will last for many years to come. Worth every penny! I would not hesitate in employing Finishing Touches' services again.
