Proper local family run friendly pub. We stopped off to meet family after sitting their dog and were made very welcome. Proper ales here S well as reasonable menu. We didn't eat there

The pub is a traditional local pub with rustic decor. We visited because we couldn't check into out hotel and wanted some lunch. The staff and landlady were very friendly and the food was excellent and very good value. Will definitely be visiting again.

So glad we came here for Sunday Lunch today. The staff and especially the landlady couldnt do enough for us. She described with a passion the dishes on the menu and recommended which ones my mum, who is a coeliac, could eat. The food was delicious, full of flavour and very good value. The pub had a lovely cheery atmosphere. We all enjoyed the whole experience. So good to meet someone who loves what she does and takes so much care and pride in every detail. Dont hesitate to visit!
