Needs improving, needs a lot more than that !

The team lead by the manager Bev provided great care for our mum during these awfully difficult times. We could not have asked for a better team of caring individuals.

Shocking care. Went to head carer (who seemed too busy eating & chatting to colleagues to talk to me) that my nan was ill and needed help after starting to choke on her own sick, she told me she'd been like that for a while even though I'd only seen her recently & she was fine. I asked her to call a doctor & got shrugged off. She died 2 days later!! Previously rang emergency bell for assistance when my nan fell, took 15 minutes of no response & me having to go & find a member of staff for help. Left my nan in soiled clothes for hours resulting in endless infections. Shocking care!! Avoid at all costs.

The cook.. She served my 92 year old mother burn't toast, beef burgers cooked like rubber, marmalade sandwich with cheese puffs on the side.. Utterly disgusting No nutritional value whatsoever. There are some genuine caring staff at Lyndhurst one of whom was assigned to my mum, Eve! In particular my mum referred to her as a pal. Also lovely Carol, and super efficient Becky.. As for Others, senior staff in particular, names I don't Ever wish to remember I experienced rudeness, ignorance, lack of concern, uncooperative with a Bad attitude. As soon as you raise issues they become defensive instead of working with you to resolve problems, they become awkward and entirely unprofessional.. Would I recommend this home..? Absolutely not. Lyndhurst care home is owned by Mr Gurmeet Singh
