Greggs

Real shame. Called in around 4.20 with my 2 daughters, after getting some shopping in middleton. The chairs were all up on the tables like it was nearly shutting so we squeezed in between the chairs and tables not to cause any disturbance just so my children could sit a moment to eat their food. As I said we also had some shopping and was struggling to carry it all. One of the staff members "Sue" shouted over "excuse me that area is closed that's why the chairs are on the tables" I replied yes I know but I was struggling so I let the children sit for a minute. The customer service wasn't good at all. The member of staff said we are trying to clear up. I was really annoyed expecially when the store didn't close untill 5.30. And the fact that I was struggling to carry all of the things I had just bought from Gregg's. I wasn't given a bag and then I was told if I want to sit in anyway I would be charged more. I would of paid more but wasnt asked if I wanted to sit in , in the first place. The whole situation was dealt with in the wrong way causing me to get very stressed and angry and went back a number of times to let them know how poor the service was still to be looked at in a horrible way. Don't close seating area over an hour before the store shuts, offer customers bags and give them the offer to sit in or take away. Its not hard. I should know I work customer facing also. My children felt really anxious and so did I if I'm honestAnd to top it off the 2 slices of pizza I bought were freezing, it shouldn't be right to serve food cold like that.

Good service. Nice shop. Good food. Quick, efficient, and friendly. One of the better Greggs. (Not a huge range of food for vegetarians, though!)
