The laundry lounge

I love this laundrette, the two lovely ladies (Laura & Pauline) who work in there are so friendly & extremely helpful! They always have change for you to use in the machines & are ready to help you if you need it. Its always nice & clean in there, even when they are busy and there isnt piles & piles of laundry bags everywhere, unlike some other laundrettes I know! I used to use this laundrette all the time when I lived in Rainham & didnt have a washing machine but I now live in Harold Hill & have a washing machine. Today I made the journey back over to Rainham to use this laundrettes facilities to wash my winter duvets so I can put them away ready for next winter. There is a laundrette local to me (Hilldene Dry Cleaners & Laundrette) but the woman who works in there is so grumpy, rude & very unhelpful. Also the place is really dirty & shabby & there are piles & piles of laundry bags everywhere! I tried to use this laundrette today (fourth time of trying!) but this grumpy old woman still has the half barn door (from the lockdown) closed & locked so you cant get in. When I asked if I could use one of the two extra large washing machines, I was told they only do service washes!? I wont be trying here every again! They dont have a patch on the laundry lounge!

Visited this place on to dry some bedding. In terms of its location, its in a great place with parking across the road at the Tesco. Inside was very clean and tidy, and an assistant on hand should you need any assistance. The driers have a very large drum and cost 1 for 7 minutes. My only gripe is the amount of information notices plastered all over the shop, its a bit excessive.
