My son has quadriplegic cerebral palsy, the wheelchair was causing bruises to my son's top half of his body, the wheelchair services saw us at home on the 23rd July 2021, after several phone calls and finally an email for them to attend, the team made some minor adjustments, that helped with the bruising, got told he needed more different parts and further adjustments that would need to be ordered and done in clinic. still now 3 and half months later we are still waiting and now my son has a pressure sore, I have called several times to be told someone will call me back with an appointment date.. I would not treat my dog like this , so what on earth gives them the right to treat my son like this?

I am a double amputee from a bomb blast in Afghanistan the MOD gave me a ti lite wheelchair then a few years later that was replaced by the NHS then when my current wheelchair came to the end of its life AJM wouldnt replace it they said they dont tend to hand out Ti lite chairs so I had to go to BLESMA a military charity with a voucher and they made up the rest of the cost I now depend on a charity for maintenance of my chair for the next five years The Taliban have more morals than than AJM healthcare they are all about pounds over people.

While the centre is accessible, getting to this centre via public transport is not accessible at all. Only way to access the centre is through private transport or hired accessible transport or taxi. And nearest bus stop is far away and no nearby tube station. Not very accessible location! However, AJM is upfront about this and informs the relevant parties about this to avoid unnecessary inconvenience and difficulties! Their Physios and Assessors are brilliant and experts in their respective fields. They understand your concerns and respond accordingly - and try their best to provide help & support as appropriate! But their front line staff members need to be more effective and efficient.
