Simplex Swimming Pools

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! We got Simplex in to open and close our pool last year. They were often late, and difficult to get hold of, and never removed the old pump they had replaced. As they had not winterised the pool effectively, it was going green and needed chlorine, so I bought a bottle of liquid chlorine from a shop near where I work. I had trouble opening it, and texted Gareth at Simplex for help, but they were too busy. No big deal, we managed in the end. We had arranged for them to come today to open up the pool for the summer. Unfortunately they couldnt do it as no one had told us we need to fill up the pool first. Gareth told me this morning that they would have availability over the next couple of days but to confirm when we had filled it up. When I texted him this evening he said they cant come this week as theyre too busy. I said were disappointed as we are selling the house and need the pool opened this week so the electrician can test the electrics on Friday. He sent me this very rude message which speaks for itself: Again sorry but you bought chemicals from one of our competitors, then contacted me because you couldnt open them. So maybe you can contact them to come and open your pool with their chemicals. Sorry but we wont be coming back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Worked for this business for over a year now, lovely family run business. Extremely trustworthy and do things they don't have to do for their customers, and i have never seen that at any place I've worked before. Lovely place to work.
