        Wasn't this school called the, ''Hayling Primary School'', in the 40's/50's? When my father was there, the grim Head was a Mr Earney, not averse to the use of the cane, whose educational aim was to turn out low level workers. I came across a staff photo of 1952, in which he identified, the Head, Mr Osborne, Science class 8 and after school woodwork. and a Miss Bodey. Unfortunately, I have lost its location. Any help appreciated to fill in the family album.
