I have fished kingsland formally known as honeypots many times over the years, since the new management has taken over the lakes have been transformed, the swims are now clearly numbered and barked out and paths have been put in around both lakes and its been pruned back in all swims there is also a large secure carpark as this is a gated fishery. The pleasure lake is a runs water and if you get your tactics right you can bag 20+ fish in a day session between 8-20lb most of them being doubles and commons along with a few mirrors, there are also cats upto 70+ with most being in the 15lb-50lb bracket. The specimen lake is now members only. There is no on-site toilet but one is being built in the future and the ground between the car park and the pleasure lake can get a little water logged in the winter, but only in winter and if you plan to fish in winter you would come equipped with the right footwear if you was winter fishing anyway. Also the bailiffs are not just bailiffs but fishermen themselves so are great at offering advice and are always welcoming. P.S You may also see a huge dog heading your way but no need to be alarmed, its the farmers dog and he was always there before we where, he is as soppy as they come and will propley lick you to death or scrounge one of your biccies before moving on to his next victim 5 mins later . All in all i would recommend kingsland pleasure lake for a decent days fishing to anglers of all abilitys

Me and my partner have fished here a few times and have no complaints! It's an amazing fishery, well maintained and the staff are very helpful and welcoming. (One of the main attractions for us is seeing the lovely dog that walks round the lake. We adore him!)
