        Spurn is a fascinating day out. You can book a 4x4 safari that takes you the length of the 3 mile peninsula...and back . The 4x4 is a unimog, the trip takes 3 hours, and the driver gives you a wealth of information, including wildlife and how Spurn was used in the war. You can also go up the disused lighthouse, built 1895. There is a lovely cafe and toilets at the Spurn Discovery Centre. Spurn really is a great place.
