St Germain's Church : Winestead

Another absolute gem of a church, set in beautiful surroundings, in the Holderness district of East Yorkshire As with the majority of churches these days, it remains closed at all times except for services, and whilst the exterior is a delight, the surrounding grounds are a treat, there is a wooded paddock at the rear, which is surrounded by an ancient, but functional moat, and a really quaint brick-built arch bridge.....I love this place
