Well, this lovely little site even includes the 'kitchen sink'! Honestly, for a CL site you couldn't hope for more, and the owners, Dave & Lorna are a delight to deal with. There is some noise from the nearby road, but to be honest, it didn't spoil our enjoyment of this beautiful, well run and maintained site. Highly recommended.

Best site we have ever stayed on. Great facilities, well run and lots of extras. Usually fully booked so speaks volumes.

I booked this little get away a few weeks before the stay, I wasn't thinking that we would make use of the room much so it wouldn't matter if it wasn't amazing. And let me tell you how wrong I was. The directions I was given were perfect to start didn't drive around looking for it at all. Then the owner came over to great us as soon as we arrived was lovely and friendly and really made you welcome. He took us on a tour of everything that was there, the additional shop; with cakes, meals, etc, and cooking facilities they had (and the homemade cake and crumbles were absolutely delicious). Then we were shown our room, as soon as the walked through the gates to the Shepard's hut it was like you were in another world cut off from everyone else. Again the owner took us around and made an effort to show you how everything worked and where everything was so you were purely left to enjoy your stay. The owner even provided a food hamper; from bread, milk, eggs, cakes, crisps the chocolates that were amazing as well. And finally onto the actual hut. It was spotless, the decor was spot on, you really felt like it could be your house. The kitchen was spacious and clean, the bedroom had access to Netflix to watch TV, the bed was so comfortable even being a high bed you felt super safe. The shower and bathroom was bright and spacious. The shower heat and pressure was perfect. The living space outside though was amazing the view, the BBQ, the heater and finally the hot tub was a delightful addition. One of the most relaxing holidays I have even been on. I'll be booking again, and telling everyone about it.
