Discriminatory lettings agents. My application to view a property was automatically rejected by these agents with no prior warning due to the fact I informed them I have a dog. On the listing there is no mention of the fact pets are not allowed at the property (which is ground floor with a garden might I add), probably because they know this is discrimination. I had to call the office to ask why I hadn't heard back and I was basically told to fxxx off. Landlords may have their preferences, but to disregard my interest entirely, not offer to speak to the landlord or offer alternative properties is just terrible customer service. The current government model shorthold tenancy agreement states rejections should only be made where there is good reason, fishneedwater and their landlords must do better.
