The standard of accommodation is what would be expected for the price (very reasonable for the area). Also, very conveniently located if you are working at Kings and there is free residential parking if you intend to bring your car with you. The communal areas within the flats are cleaned regularly and, whilst basic, are fit for purpose. Flatmates come and go but all are friendly and all mine have been fellow NHS. WiFi is free and quick in my experience. I have consistently streamed Netflix, Prime etc. without any buffering. Room size is good for one person with adequate storage and a single bed. The existing mattress was terrible when I first moved in and I swiftly invested in a new one after spending my first couple of weeks in work with a hunchback. I would strongly recommend anybody do the same if they intend to stay for any length of time. Be prepared to be peppered with letters from both Southwark Council and the TV Licensing Authority on a weekly basis, demanding that you register on the electoral role and pay your TV license fee. Despite responding to both authorities many times, they persist in writing to me each week and must have used the equivalent of perhaps two trees to unnecessarily communicate with me thus far. Side note: Dont harbour any expectations of there being running hot water available. I have been here for over two years and the boiler (one boiler supplies entire building) breaks every month on average and, in more recent times, weekly. The accommodation team are quite responsive to this and generally have the problem fixed within a day or two; although the longest stretch without hot water was around 10 days. Quite unpleasant on a winter morning if you want a shower before work. I ended up joining a local gym to use their facilities whenever these situations arise. Bear in mind that when the boiler is broken, theres no heating in the building either, so you wont be warming up after jumping out of that icy shower. A very generic email is circulated on each of these occasions, apologising for the inconvenience. However, there seems to be no urgency to find and fix the root cause of this repeated issue. To all intents and purposes, it appears Notting Hill Genesis believe this level of ongoing disruption to residents is perfectly acceptable. Overall, I would recommend this as a place to consider staying if youre not too fussy and on a budget. Most residents are NHS so work long hours and just use this as a place to eat and sleep when they arent at the hospital - for which it serves its purpose. Hope this review was helpful.

Had neutral experience no trouble so far. Was cheap, safe. Small room good for short term stay...

Its about their WiFi service providers by name Optify. Had the privilege of being assisted by one of their technical assistants called Laura. She was amazingly polite and helpful. The best part was her sheer brilliance. She was just cool and came across as a very smart personality. Keep it up girl.
