A magical hilltop with fabulous views and legend has it that it's King Arthur's Camelot. If you go there, you'll see how it might be true!

Really interesting site with fabulous views across to the Mendips & Quantocks & Glastonbury Tor is clearly visible. The earthworks here are huge & you can see why the fort was located here when you get to the top. The interpretation boards are ok, but were put up in 1988, so could do with a refresh. There were cattle at the top at the time of our visit, so it's important to keep dogs on a lead. Not suitable for those with mobility issues due to the steep climb & uneven path. There is a small car park closeby the start of the entrance track, which also has a dog poo bin. There is another bin at the start of the entrance track (between two houses), but no other bins further up, so you'll need to hang on to any waste. It's clear others had not done this at the time of our visit in Nov 22, & there was quite a bit of dog mess unfortunately.
