I used LWTL for my recent trip to watch England Rugby in Australia. It was originally to be as part of a group tour, but since I was the only person to sign up (I guess a mix of Covid jitters & Cost of Living pressures), I was offered either a refund or to go on my own (no rep). As I really needed the holiday & I was eager to see both the Rugby & Australia, I opted to go. The team at LWTL were excellent throughout, keeping me updated with the progress of tickets, organising the transfers from Airport to hotel etc, as well as forwarding on all the paperwork I needed. Their choice of hotels was very good in terms of location in each of the three cities. An excellent job all round, and definitely recommended!

Living with the lions treated me as an individual through out the process. The information was clear with lots of different viewing options. The extras we could book was one of the main reasons for choosing living with the lions. Any questions we asked received a prompt response

Dear Living with Lions I would like to share my experiences with you. Does what it says on the can but dont believe the rest. My sons wanted to go on a dream holiday to watch England play cricket in the Barbados. Two of my sons have a life limiting condition called Alstrom Syndrome which has left them totally blind and with hearing loss this was pointed out to LWTL on several occasions before the trip. The hotel was well positioned, the transfer to and from the hotel and to the matches were organised well. Before and when we arrived TLWL representative said he would do as much as he could to make the holiday special for my sons saying he was trying to sort out players to come and meet them, trying to organise to meet the commentators from the radio as this was their way of listening to the test match and understanding what was going on. A tour of the ground when the match had finished and even that he knew some one in the yacht club and he would attempt to organise a catamaran day cruise for the lads all of which made my sons very excited. Unfortunately as everyday passed it be came more and more clear that none of the above were not going to happen. As for the catering for my sons disabilities no effort was made on the part of LWTL to make life easier or more accessible. We were located on the top floor of the hotel with no lifts, even worse at the ground we were located on the highest stand, again no lifts and the only toilets available been on the ground floor. The view was very good a bit ironic really. Our LWTL rep did say he had met a member of the commentary team in the part of the ground he was in and had asked for them to give my sons a mention. The holiday was a massive let down mainly due to expectations of the promises please could you refrain from making them in future then I wont feel like its me whos let my sons down. Your Sincerely Brian Vasey

The LWL team were very helpful in sorting out our bespoke final Lions test trip to NZ. They made sure the serviced apartment room in Auckland was the right size for our party of four (including two kids), and were very responsive to all queries before we departed for NZ. And seats for the game were great - we were sat next to the Auckland Blues squad! Great job all round - thanks to James, Gail and Gwyn.
