King's Lynn Recycling Centre

Norfolk County Council web page for this recycling centre states compost is 3.50 per bag, and compost bins 10 each or two for 15. I Was charged 4.50 per bag of compost and 12 for one compost bin. So my council tax increased as per usual this year, but NCC/WNC could not be bothered to take a few minutes to to update the pricing on their web page. Yet another example of total greed by the council who will run rough shod over you, think of their parking meters that dont dispense a refund if you dont have the correct change and you have to pay more ( basic vending machines can issue change for over payment, so why not local government parking meters). If the gentleman who had served me, had not been so polite and helpful I would have argued the case, but as he was quoting prices from a handheld tablet and I paid by Debit card I assumed these were correct and I had mistakenly noted the prices. So the is an electronic trail of payment along with CCTV footage as these are methods along with others the Council use to enforce a fine if an individual were to over stay their on parking on one of the Council car park parks So NCC has falsely advertised its rates for services/products at the Kings Lynn recycling centre. SHAMEFUL, as you are expected to serve the community. NCC/WNC I will complain further on your woeful ways, and hope you bring yourselves up to an acceptable standard or of service.

Really annoying that you have to pay so much to get rid of some items. No wonder people fly tip, which actually costs the council more to clean up. Someone is making money from this little side line.

Shame I cannot give zero stars!! Disgustingly rude staff the manager Robyn Walpole of shall we say robyn hood makes prices up as he goes along, fiddling the books pretending to fill out receipts and then put the money in his pockets he needs investigating, no wonder people fly tip every member of staff that works there are as useless as a chocolate teapot have reported them numerous times nothing ever done absolutely refuse to use the recycling center. Clearly the council don't read their reviews as the reviews on their staff are absolutely shocking.
