I was picking up a package from John Lewis that had been sent here. I had the bar code ready to go and everything. Should have been a simple in and out operation, right? Wrong. I had my support animal with me. Man was on his phone and didn't even look up at me when I walked in. He was about to scan my bar code when he looked down, finally noticed my dog, and promptly told me to get out. Keep in mind there are no signs saying they don't allow dogs so this came as a shock to me. I told him I couldn't tie my dog outside, several times. I even asked him if I could leave my phone on the counter for him to scan and then I wait outside with the dog. Again, he refused, telling me to tie him up before coming in, despite me continuing to tell him this wasn't an option. Will never be coming here again. Will not advise anyone else do so either.

I went to collect an Amazon parcel from this shop and was received by an abusive shopkeeper who went on to intimidate me and talk to me in a degrading/authoritarian manner. Once I collected my parcel, I clearly expressed my disapproval of his behaviour and he responded to me with a swear word: p***k.
