Cultivate London

I volunteer for Cultivate London in the Acton area, we have been working on the raised beds in the playgrounds of Berrymede Jr Schools since August 2021; it has been fun and relaxing learning about gardening while socialising with other volunteering neighbours and the Cultivate London team; indeed was a time when interaction with humans and nature was greatly needed! I love that they want to transform unused green areas in hubs to involve the community and teach horticultural skills; we have grown and harvested our own vegetables, and the pupils were also involved in some activities. They also have other beautiful projects in progress, all about community involvement, socialisation and learning gardening. Come and join us this spring&summer!

Amazing place! So glad we found it by chance. Sally is such an asset to the gardens. My children adored her and therefore listened and actually took in all that she taught them. Brilliant ...wish there was more places like this !
