Bowerland Cottage Holidays

The annex was a lovely place, the garden was enclosed meaning we could let our dog out without worrying about him getting out, there was a decent size bathroom with both a bath and shower option. They have a microwave and kettle and some crockery you can use. We went down for dog training with devon dogs which was connected to bowerland all staff, and trainers we came across were very lovely and helpful.

The site is a large training facility called devon dogs. This accommodation is clean and comfortable and suitable for those training dogs. It is located in a fairly remote spot about 1/3 mile up a single lane road maybe 3 miles from Okehampton so not a prime tourist location. It has good access to the A30 however where a petrol station with mini waitrose are to be found. Rules are fairly strict, you cannot go out and leave your dog unattended and you mustnt let it bark in the garden and you do not have access to the training areas if you are not training your dog. There is an adjacent footpath but its wise to keep your dog on a lead. So ideal if you are training a dog there
