The Band Veterinary Centre has always been an excellent practice which I would recommend and normally give 5*. Everyone - nurses, manager, vets - have always put the welfare and best interests of our pets at the forefront of what they do and I am sure that will not change. However, now that they have joined the Medivet conglomerate, I worry how that will affect the practice's clients and their pets. The prices are already going up at a time when many are struggling financially. There really is no place in veterinary care for monopoly or ownership by private equity firms whose primary aim is profit for investors. I very much wish to be proved wrong but .......

Used this veterinary practice for annual booster injections as they are part of the Medivet group. My normal practice is in Northamptonshire, but in this area until the end of February, and injection was due. The staff were very helpful and completed the examination and injections without any fuss and updated the dogs record on the medivet system.
