On September 27th 2015, West Street Church in Somerton officially opened its doors for the first time, following the adoption of the new name for the joint venture between the Methodist and United Reformed Churches in the town. Previously the Methodist Church, this is a Grade II Listed Building, originally listed as the Weslyan Chapel and dated 1845. Constructed of local lias stone cut and squared, with Ham stone dressings and having a Welsh slate roof.
