Went here for dinner last night. Was the best food I have eaten probably ever. Staff were excellent. Setting was very comfortable. Excellent menu choices. Highly recommend. We both enjoyed everything about this place

Oh dear, so many good reviews, but not my experience sadly. I had to ask for the marble style table to be wiped down properly and noticed that this was not being done as other diners vacated. Coffee arrived on time and was long gone before any sign of the food order.. the Croque Monsieur could have been worth the high price, but was nowhere near. The sour dough bread was swimming in butter which took away the very quality sour dough is used for. The creamy cheese filling dominated everything, way too much, the shredded ham and dijon mustard overpowered and defeated. That was it on a plate. Soggy butter oozing sourdough with cheese cream. No other presentation.. on paying the bill I noticed afterwards a 2 50 discretionary service charge had been added without being informed that I might of had a choice in the matter. Somerton needs a venue like this, but on my visit has been let down badly.

This morning I had brunch with my sister. We both had an omelette with spinach, mushrooms and smoked salmon as a side. It was simply delicious. Always a wonderful experience. Staff are attentive, friendly and smile! Thank you x
