Conversation started sharply but the tone changed when I answered the question of occupation.
When I queried why this was important, I was told "because we only want people who will pass referencing".
Referencing? Oh, you mean the service I have to pay for!!?
I found this question quiet snobby and as such, the conversation did not continue.
If you can pay your own bills it shouldn't matter about occupation.
