Kalas Wear Ltd

The Kalas team have hit the nail on the head with their range of products. I've been slowly building up my Kalas wardrobe to cover all seasons. It started with a custom kit for our club which the Kalas team helped design. They were super helpful and we were so pleased with the design. I've got the carbon and razor tops and they are by far my go-to pieces for riding through the warmer seasons; close fitting, doesn't ride up your back, and feels amazing. I'm 82kgs and 175cm tall and the size 4 is snug for racing and the 5 is great for long days when you need to carry food / extra clothes or put a thicker base layer on when it's cold. I have also invested in the PURE Z | 3/4 bib tights and full length tights which have also been great to wear (both size 4 and both with pad) and again, you feel like your comfortable, yet supported and there is no riding up behind your knees. Since then I've bought matching socks, gloves, long sleeve jerseys... the works... I really can't recommend them enough!

My first encounter with Kalas was during the Birmingham Velo 2018 when Cure Leukaemia provided their riders with a jersey and bib shorts for the event. The quality and fit of the top was outstanding and probably the best Ive had. So when we entered the following years Velo I contacted Kalas to have a design made for that year, as my wife Maria and myself were riding it to raise money for the Unitarian Church as they give underprivileged children a free weeks holiday in the Peek District at Great Hucklow. I spoke to Alex Dowdy who was very helpful and talked me through the process, on sending him a couple of logos we wanted to include, a few days later the design was emailed to me. It was just perfect and they had even taken the time to add the correct send a child to Hucklow logo (I didnt know there was one) once approved it took 6 weeks for it to be made and shipped. We had short sleeve jerseys, long sleeve jerseys (Flanders fleece lined) and bib shorts. The quality of the items were perfect. Weve had such good comments about them. Ive also bought Pure Z bib shorts and cycle jersey for my wife, she says both pads (Zoom X and 3D Endurance) are excellent and the bibs fit better than the 160 specialised she previously wore. I have the Motion Z bib shorts and again the fit is excellent, you can almost forget youve got them on they are so comfy. Ive used Castelli, Gore and Endura bib shorts and the Kalas ones are the best Ive ever had. Plus cost wise, the value is great too both for their standard range and the custom range. I am due to take delivery of some Custom designed Roubaix bib tights for Maria and myself within the next week. To sum up, a top quality product thats great value too, and outstanding customer service to make it an even better experience.

Loving my Kalas gear right now. The pad is extremely comfortable, even on long rides and the materials are great at wicking moisture. Kalas is my new go-to brand for bike apparel.

Having ridden & raced for over 25 years & worn various brands of kit I can safely say that Kalas is by far & away the best cycling kit I have worn. Attention to detail & innovation are second to none, along with fast turn around & knowledgeable, helpful staff when designing & ordering custom kit. Costs are far less than what you would pay for certain other top end cycling clothing manufacturers too!

Have purchased quite a few items of KALAS cycling kit recently and now wouldn't look anywhere else for my gear. The kit is super quality and really comfortable on the longer rides - even the performance gear. The sizing guide is great and haven't had to return any back yet which is a bonus. My latest purchase is the long sleeved jersey from the shark range which is awesome. Water literally beads off it in the rain yet it's still cool when riding in the sun. Couldn't recommend this bit of kit any higher.
