Advance Dental Practice

Staff were not pleasant, very strict covid rules about wearing masks etc even after everywhere else has stopped asking for it. Seemed more concerned about the virus than about teeth.

One of my teeth broke recently. Having not lived in the UK for some time, and not being registered with a Dentist, I was a bit stuck, and was aware of the fact I didn't have a chance of being seen by an NHS Dentist. I did some phoning around and settled on Advance. I was seen within 48 hours on a Friday, and by Monday lunchtime I had been treated. The practice is clean and modern, and all the staff had a friendly, caring demeanour. I even received a call the day after treatment to ensure I was OK.

This private practice has now re-opened after lockdown, with Covid 19 restrictions in place. Situated on the trading estate in the lovely historic town of Somerton. Amanda the owner is also the dentist, with friendly staff who all put you at ease. I would highly recommend. Well done all

My pregnant daughter who is a registered patient with advance dental, a home owner in somerton, a registered patient with buttercross doctors was refused a emergency appointment because she had been in London for a few days working! Since when has a Karen style receptionist been able to refuse treatment to someone in pain because they have vulnerable clients and London has more COVID cases Surely a dental practice must operate COVID securely? It certainly sounds like advance does not trust in it own COVID sanitisation procedure. Nowhere on any government website does it say you cant go to your local dentist if youve been to London! Advance, you should be ashamed of yourself, especially as youd treated her two weeks prior! Disgusting!
