Smoulder and Scorch

These guys catered for our wedding last weekend, they were great at being flexible and working around everyones needs. Took on board dietary requirements, and communication wasnt a problem. It was a shame we didnt manage to see the meat smoulder on the BBQ, but you cant plan the rain! Huge compliments about the food and quality form the guests, it was amazing especially the smoked salmon. The team did a fantastic job all round, perfect for the relaxed informal meal we were after. Thanks again Keiron and your team. Highly recommend and would use again.

Good communication before the event but the actual day was a let down. The stall was not as pictured, looked a bit of a shambles to be honest. Food was to start to be served at 6pm but we were told he would have to leave at 7pm. It all felt a bit rushed. The meat was dry and should have been served in biodegradable boxes. It was served on plates which were piled high with food ( no shortage) but therefore looked unappetising and was difficult to eat. My share of the pulled pork ( which was literally pulled by his hand) was a lump of fat. The server did not look professional for a caterer and should have worn an apron rather than a hoodie. All in all very disappointing for the money.

Smoulder and Scorch were perfect for our wedding. They had great communication and were really reliable. The food was superb and the drinks were perfect! The staff were friendly, professional and completely wove the day together, going above and beyond. So many of our guests heaped praise on them and commented on their professionalism and kindness. Importantly, they made my husband and I feel extremely relaxed throughout the day. Thank you for making our day so special. Would highly recommend.

Completely unreliable, terrible communication, totally unprofessional. Cancelled on our wedding with two weeks notice after trying to contact them through endless emails and phone calls. Not apologetic at all and left us with a huge stress and pressure to find catering for our wedding in two weeks.
