I visited on 7th May with my wife who is an invalid. She wanted to try a pair of shoes on. Looking around the only chair I could find was one which was on display. Taking it I was chased by an assistant from the area to say that it was their chair not Cotton Traders. I suggested that they should have suitable seats for customers to be told to use the settee in the corner. The settee, when I found it, was covered in boxes and waste paper. I started to remove some so that my wife could use it and was dismayed to find that the assistant, no more than six feet away, continued to remove creases from a garment. There was no word spoken, no assistance given and of course, in the end, NO PURCHASE BY US.
