I had already done a barista course with another company, but this one far exceeded my earlier experience, in terms of the quality of delivery, content and general atmosphere. Kate knows her subject and is passionate about it, and about teaching and this comes across in the training. Far more relevant than my other experience, with the details that bring it all to life and allow attendees to put what they have learned to use at home. I would recommend this course to anyone interested in coffee, whether you plan to make it a career or not.

Making espresso is an art as well as a science, and as I beginner I had no idea where to start in learning it. Kate at IBTA is a wonderful instructor, and I was lucky to get a one-to-one with her. I came in knowing the theoretical side of espresso but with no experience making it, and left having gained the confidence to make different types of espresso based drinks and latte art. I would recommend this training to anyone who has an interest in making espresso and wants hands-on guidance while learning.

Had a fab time on a groupon. Katie tailored the course to my needs, as I already knew some basics and, due to covid restrictions, I had a personal course! She is passionate about coffee, very knowledgeable and really easy to get on with. Recommended!
