Terrible service, sent wrong people twice, said price would get higher each time. I ended up cancelling the job as waiting 2 weeks and no further on. Then contacted another gas engineer who got it all sorted 2 days later. Imo, A1 didn't want the job, it was too small and not worth their time.

I had a mini-crisis with my boiler today...no heating or hot water for my overseas guests! A1 Gas Force Solihull came to my rescue. A quote from another company suggested a new part....A1 gave my boiler an instant service, while explaining why my boiler had failed. They did a great job and am a relieved and happy customer. They have won my respect and I will definitely be using them in future.

I had two gas engineers from A1 Gas Force attend my central heating problem. The first found that I needed a new part, but the company do not keep these in stock as other firms do, so I had to wait a few days. He then bled my upstairs radiators - 2 days later I had water coming down into my lounge through the light fitting but A1 were unable to get an emergency engineer out to me that day. I found another firm who came within the hour, who discovered that the A1 engineer had not fully tightened up one of the radiators having bled it, and it had been dripping water constantly ever since. A few days later a second A1 engineer came to fit the new part, which he did - however he did not check the radiators and I had to bleed three of them myself, he also left without replacing a small plank of wood which serves as a shelf in my airing cupboard. He had bent one of the nails so that I couldn't replace it either. I believe that he could at least have apologised, not just left it. Neither of the engineers could give me a receipt for my payment. All along communication from the company was poor, particularly on the day I had the water leak; they did not keep me informed, I had to ring them back twice, only to then find that no-one could make it until the next day. It seems that customer care/satisfactiion is not a priority.
