We in health care already get enough bad press without confounding that bad press with ill manners and allowing our personal frustrations to spill over to the degree patients hear staff members being rude over the phone.
Rest assured upon my next visit to Grove Road Pharmacy I will be speaking too whomever needs to be made aware of this behaviour.
I myself am tired and sometimes allow my frustration to spill over but we should all be aware be it in a Pharmacy or in a NHS Hospital that the people we are dealing with are sick and in some cases vulnerable, the last thing patients want when speaking to Pharmacy staff or NHS staff is sighing and ill manners when being asked a relivant questions regarding that patients prescription or treatment.
