Paws For Thought Solihull

Monty has had a lovely weeks stay with Lydia and her crew. Monty has his own little habits and traits and is not the easiest dog (maybe the largest) but he settled in to Lydias and loved the other dogs. Leaving your dog with someone new leaves you feeling nervous but the daily updates put our mind at rest so we could enjoy our holiday. I will certainly recommend Lydia to anyone looking a a home from home setting. Thank you so much he will be back soon

We have used this service for our Cockapoo, Teddy, on many occasions and have been completely satisfied every time. Lydia is very organised when arranging stays, kind and caring to our Ted and she posts pictures on her Facebook page everyday so that we can see just how happy he is with his fellow boarders, having so much fun with them. This is so reassuring for us to look at, wherever we may be in the world. We would recommend Paws for Thought Solihull to anyone.

Maxi can be an anxious dog at times, but he knows he is 100% safe and loved with Lydia. He adores her because she truly cares about all the dogs she looks after. My only reluctance about writing this review is that she may become so popular that its hard to book a place for Maxi. Thank you Lydia - you really are the best

I visited her for induction which was an unpleasant experience . I was massively disappointed on her approach, lack of respect and interest on this business. I have never experienced such a poor customer service, all the time she was talking , I felt she is the customer and I needed to convince her to purchase a service from me. I do not recommend her on this basis.

As dog owners we were very reluctant to put our dog into a kennel. Home boarding was the best solution for us and we started the process of finding someone to look after our new pup Barney early this year. We spoke to a number of people before we decided to use Lydias service. From day one she made it clear she would only accept a dog if its temperament was right and he got on well with not only her own dog but other dogs stopping with her, which was very reassuring to us. After a successful trial day followed by a trial overnight stay, Barney stopped with Lydia for a week. Barney came away bouncing and happy and it is clear he has been well looked after. Lydia was very thorough with every process especially at the beginning and we were pleased this was the case as it reassured us that she had the dogs interests at heart and that we were leaving Barney with someone we could trust. That attention to detail was a big reason for choosing Lydia. We also appreciated the daily photos on the Facebook page which again made us feel at ease during our holiday. Overall, we are extremely happy with how Barney has been cared for and would not hestitate in using Lydia again or recommending her to our friends and family. Thank you :)
