having moved into our new bungalow 2 years ago , what should have been a pleasure has been anything BUT, we have had our fair share of faults with this substandard property, and now we have had tiles falling from the roof! and because our 2 year warranty has expired CUSTOMER CARE could not careless !! I urge anyone thinking of buying a Hayfield homes property to think very carefully, and read the small print thoroughly, especially regarding SERVICE CHARGES.

I purchased a home from Hayfield around a year ago now and all I can say is that I love it! The quality is tip top and the customer care has been so wonderful, too. If anyone asked me to recommend a new home developer, I'd have no qualms in saying Hayfield. Thank you very much!

Destroying a local nature reserve and public open space for corporate greed. Understand where youre not wanted.

I purchased an apartment from Hayfield last year, and there have been numerous issues since I moved in. There were 3 separate leaks in the ceiling of the bathroom and in the bedroom. These have now hopefully been rectified, however myself and my Dad have had to make numerous journeys back and forth from my place of work, and where my Dad lives, to be at the flat to let various people in to fix these issues, which should never have happened in the first place. This is where my issue lies, its a new build and leaks in the ceiling are really not acceptable. Shoddy work in my opinion as it transpired that the material around the faux chimney had not been secured down correctly. Since this I have also had a leak from the bathroom heated towel rail! Ive also had to come out for silly things - Hayfield gave me one serial number for my water meter, another to Severn Trent and both of which were incorrect and I ended up with a huge water bill when I had only been there 8 weeks, I had to sort this all out myself. Hayfield told me they were very hot on customer service and I would be called once a week after I had moved in, to check everything was ok for the first month. Needless to say this never happened and I had to regularly chase customer service to get things sorted out. Do not say you are going to do things if you cannot see this through. The three stars are for how lovely the flat looks, unfortunately the same cannot be said for the quality and the customer service - Hayfield make you feel like you are a nuisance and an inconvenience for complaining, when in fact, I am totally within my right to do so when there are constant issues that keep occurring within my new build property.
