Gone horribly down hill over the last year all the nice staff are not there anymore,used to have class about this place that has changed since the change of staff what seems to be a manager whenever I visit is very moody and rude and unlike the other staff has zero class,so no surprise any good items do not make the shop floor.

Always a lovely shop to visit. Quality clothing, both m/f, household items, books, shoes. Parking available. Lovely staff always happy to see you.

I visited the St Maryss Hospice shop today on Dovehouse Parade. Was greeted by a lovely volunteer who referred me to a woman who I can only assume was the Manager as I said I would do Gift Aid. She was so intent on telling me what they couldnt take instead of being thankful & appreciative of what they could take I left the items I had brought in & walked out without Gift Aiding. Both her response & attitude were appalling. I kept the other exceptionally good quality clothing for the Blue Cross who are always pleased & grateful to receive quality items. I have never before felt annoyed enough to write a review for anything but St Marys is a fantastic cause & I may not be the only one to have taken my goods elsewhere because of the Managers surly & dismissive attitude - they may be missing some much needed income as a result.
