Cineworld Cinema Solihull

Not my local cineworld, but one I keep returning to as its halfway between my brother and me. Been going quite frequently with the unlimited passes and starting to have good banter with various regular staff. Definitely recommend the ice cream, with the flavours changing regularly (monthly, I think?), but always nice. Pricing isnt bad and this cineworld is slightly cheaper than the NEC, but you have to pay for parking. Very clean from what Ive seen.

Update: Feb'22. Current lack of films (not entirely Cineworld's fault, but their timings could be better). Still too many phone screens causing distraction / nuisance; something must be done to avoid unpleasant confrontations. Update Oct'22: Same except new twist is that the code scanner needs the mobile to be lit up like Wembley Stadium! PS, beware that they don't show everything you would expect. Update: May'22. No technical hitches recently, but otherwise everything else the same. Update: March'22. Still same poor website and dreadful app, but a few more staff inside. Finding new ways to spoil a film, eg, leaving subtitles where they shouldn't be, on top of the usual noisy, feeding, chatting, phone flashing audience behaviour. Previously, Dec'17, refurb complete but still software glitches and insufficient staff to service customers quickly. Previously: Absolute shambles! Major construction underway, in school holidays, AND ticketing systems in chaos.

Cineworld is arguably the best movie cinema in Birmingham , I doubt any other is close in terms of service, comfort & the range of shows! Also, buy your tickets online & get discounts when you become an Frequent Member! Enjoy the movie
