Park Surgery

The receptionists are absolutely useless. Ive just tried 3 times this week to get an appointment and all 3 have advised me something different for Park Surgery Shirley. if you are employed in healthcare have a caring attitude, these receptionists are absolutely cold and heartless people

I cannot speak highly enough of the excellent service and support my family and I have received over the last 2 years especially. The doctors and nurses have been attentive and caring and proactive when needed. Tracey on reception is the friendliest and most helpful person who always goes above and beyond for us. Awful experience I have now left Park Surgery I was in excruciating pain in my foot and could hardly walk. Receptionist fobbed me off to A and E which I do not feel she was qualified to make this decision. On arrival at A and E they said I should have seen my GP. I have now registered with a new surgery where I got a same day appointment and was prescribed antibiotics which put me right, and the doctor signed me off for a week, this is the first time in my life I have had a sick note and my new surgery were so professional and pleasant. As someone who has only used the Doctors a handful of times I am utterly appalled by the regime they are running at Park Surgery and I hope that other patients are Not treated how I was, my advice try another Surgery if you can.

This surgery seem on the ball. They referred me for tests quickly when I was concerned about recurring cancer. The receptionists are friendly and there is a call-back facility on the phone when the lines are busy.
