Been shopping at this store for at least the past 7 years .. Ive always found the staff helpful and friendly .. But today (Sunday ) I think they were being a bit to accommodating to what seemed to be a dog walking club /group of people with dogs and not the small type that can be carried in owners arms .. There was German shepherds.. Labradors collies in side the shop . Im a dog owner myself of a Gorgeous staffie but it still surprised me to see at first just one dog in the store but soon realised there was several medium to large dogs walking round the store on leads .. I may not of noticed the dogs so much if some owners had of been better behaved but sadly not the case the big smelly German Shepard was walked past me twice and twice was allowed to brush past my legs leaving half its winter coat on my jeans .. which for me is a problem as I am Allergic to and can have a reaction to long hair dogs fur .. I was also slightly confused as to why these dogs were all allowed freely in here when I got closer to the exit and realised the front of the shop where most owners and dogs were gathered was the worst possible place in the shop to be and also the reason why No DOGS SHOULD ( except service dogs ) BE ALLOWED IN because there is food produce sold here and both the staff and owners choose that area to seem to want to gather and pet the dogs ( the cake Accessories isle that amoung some of the items for sale are ready mixed icing .. cake sprinkles etc .. like I said I am a dog lover myself but I also know its not very hygienic to allow animals in sores that sell food . I may be wrong but I was under the impression it was actually illegal.. Im sure the stores cctv can back up my review.. anyway that aside I do tend to only shop here for certain items not available from the works as some items are massively higher in price .. I was hoping to get a engraving pen from here today . But was surprised to find out its not a item they sell !! Its a craft supply store ? ??
