Attended sight test 5 minutes before appointed time. Advised that my appointment had been cancelled using words, tone and body language which strongly communicated that it was somehow my fault that I was there. I showed my phone screen showing emails, messages and received calls which only confirmed my appointment, nothing indicated my appointment had been cancelled. I was informed that my cancellation was likely not received because I had provided them with incorrect contact details (I have just checked my Vision Express account and all contact details are correct). No apology, just continued strong communication that it was my fault that I was there. By the end of the conversation I was feeling quite belittled.

Our granddaughter broke her glasses and we were phoned to say they were ready for collection. The frames cost 40. There were a lot of staff in the shop but it took them some to find the glasses. They were adjusted several times and then told the optician, who was with another patient, would need to do the final check. After an unnecessary wait the optician walked in with her shopping. We spent far too long in the shop!
