No renewal documentation was supplied. Auto renewed 4 hrs prior to insurance period end for extortionate amount without being given the opportunity to look for alternative taking money out of my account without my consent. Called to complain, Insurance extended by a day, to look at renewal quote details, and I asked for an immediate refund until I had looked at options. Found cheaper but more comprehensive insurance elsewhere for less than half monthly cost. Phoned up to tell A-plan would not be continuing with them and asked them to cancel my direct debit. Also complained that despite over 6 hrs, elapsing money had still not been refunded to my account. Had to threaten with FCA before faster payment was actioned. Really poor experience.
