voco St. John's Solihull, an IHG Hotel

Hi. The location of the hotel is nice. I stayed there for few days for the shooting of my upcoming new series and I loved the area. The rooms are nice. Hotel's staff is very kind and helpful but the Manager (the old lady) don't know her name tho, isn't very friendly and is rude which is devastating and really sad. I saw there were some other guests, probably over-staying guests who would come and complain about the food every single time. I don't know why hotel has to focus on the short staying guests and make them their priority. Everyone should be treated equally and I personally would recommend all my colleagues and friends not to stay at this Hotel. Bye

The hotel management is very terrible and the manager is a huge racist. The food they serve for over-staying guests is disgusting and smells like a dead fish. Most of the time the food they serve is the leftovers from the other guests. Although Muhammad, Mukesh and Constantine along with other workers who serve the guests are very polite and kind and do their best to make the guests happy. I'm personally very happy from their work and the efforts they put in. The manager and the chefs should reconsider their posts and should do what they are assigned to do and make the food fresh and tasty. I hope I get the chance to take my review back. The rooms are nice and the location is perfect
